Deity-epithet name for Uttara-Bhādrapadā, whose divinity is Ahir Budhnya, 'the serpent of the deep', used at SS 9.18. Burgess notes the internal tension that this star, of the second magnitude, is left in the unspecified 17° class at 9.15 yet appears here among those never obscured. Al-Bīrūnī's never-setting list likewise ends with Uttarabhādrapadā.
