The technical monosyllable used throughout siddhāntic astronomy for a nakshatra — bha-gaṇa (the asterism-circle), bha-cakra, bha-bheda, and the bhagrahayuti chapter-titles of Brahmagupta and Bhāskara. Amarakośa records it twice: as a synonym of 'star' here, and in the Nānārtha-varga among the senses of dhiṣṇya and of dhruva.
