राधाविशाखा पुष्ये तु सिध्यतिष्यौ श्रविष्ठया ॥ १.३.२१९ ॥
'Stars in the Southern scale.' Footnote: 'Properly dual, as indicating two stars, which compose this constellation according to ancient authors. But astronomers now recken [sic] four.' — H.T. Colebrooke (1808)

Amarakośa's synonym for Viśākhā. Colebrooke glosses it 'Stars in the Southern scale' — α Librae — and his footnote records exactly the dispute this database tracks: 'Properly dual, as indicating two stars, which compose this constellation according to ancient authors. But astronomers now reckon four.' The Buddhist Śārdūlakarṇāvadāna independently gives Viśākhā two stars, siding with the 'ancient authors' — and against the faint ι Librae that Burgess derived from the Sūrya Siddhānta's coordinates.
