अभिजिद् ब्रह्महृदयम् स्वातीवैष्णववासवाः / अहिर्बुध्न्यम् उदक्स्थत्वान् न लुप्यन्ते ऽर्करश्मिभिः //

Deity-epithet name for Śravaṇa, whose presiding divinity is Viṣṇu, used in place of the ordinary name at SS 9.18. Corroborated by al-Bīrūnī, whose never-setting list includes 'the two Eagles' — al-Nasr al-Ṭāʾir (Altair) and al-Nasr al-Wāqiʿ (Vega) — matching Vaiṣṇava and Abhijit exactly. The Buddhist Śārdūlakarṇāvadāna independently gives Śravaṇā the deity Viṣṇu.
