Deity-epithet name for Śraviṣṭhā/Dhaniṣṭhā, whose divinities are the Vasus, used at SS 9.18. Al-Bīrūnī's independent never-setting list also has Dhaniṣṭhā, and his nakshatra table remarks of it: 'Unknown. Most likely it is the Dolphin' — an independent arrival at Delphinus, matching Colebrooke's gloss on the Amarakośa.
